Our Mission

Committed to Change, PC exists to empower individuals seeking self-betterment. We seek to provide comprehensive mental health treatment in a non-judgmental way through quality psychiatric services, psychotherapy and mentoring programs.

It is our desire to provide individualized services for each client we serve until the client has reached their personal level of therapeutic success.

Our Vision

We strive to be the leaders in authentic mental health treatment by way of our caring staff and comprehensive services. For us, true success is measured by the success of the clients we serve. Research has revealed that then medication management is combined with psychotherapy, patients show greater improvement over aversive symptoms than if these methods are used independently. For this reason, it is our goal to provide quality mental health services to each individual we serve.

Our Philosophy

Mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety are very common illnesses that are frequently stigmatized. Our providers are comfortable treating many common psychiatric conditions. We aim to educate our patients about their condition and to work with them to create an individualized treatment plan in which everyone is comfortable. Depending on the patient and the condition, this plan may include medications, individual and/or family therapy and frequently, both.

Advisory Board

Our Board of Advisors is comprised of three individuals with over 30 years of experience in the health and mental health field; a registered nurse, a nurse anesthetist and a specialist from the Maryland Coalition for Children.

 

Our Current Staff Includes:

10 Licensed mental health professionals
19 Direct care workers/counselors, each of whom have at least an Associate’s degree
4 Program Directors
3 Administrative staff
2 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
1 Board Certified Psychiatrist
